Lily's Graduation from Preschool!

  Where do I start...Lily you and I have been a team since the day you were born.  We have never been apart so when it was time for you to go to preschool I decided to work at your preschool program for 2 yrs. Just not quite ready to let you go.   You went to our churches preschool at First Baptist.   I have always been a arm length from you and Loved it!!! Which I know will not be the case next year in kindergarten.  So , during graduation my heart ached and yes, I cried but with saying that i am very excited about you starting kindergarten.  
  When I Think about how perfect it all worked out with me being able to work at your preschool.  Being with you during the day and then getting home just in time to get Macy Carol from school.  The hours could not have been any better almost as if it was perfectly orchestrated by God!!

 Lily you planted the bulbs about 2 yrs ago.  You got so excited this year when they bloomed so pink and pretty .  You wanted a picture with them because you keep saying how beautiful they were but the flowers are not the true beauty in this picture. 

Botanical Gardens (Field Trip)

2nd Grade field trip!!

  On your 2nd Grade field trip we went to the Botanical Gardens.   Your dad came up with a little surprise for you.  He took off work to drive the bus.  You didnt even know until we were all loading on the bus. You were very surprised and excited that dad was going with us.   It was so Fun!!!

Try Try and Try again..... (A Valuable Lession)

The Dreaded Bike... A Lession Learned.

At first,  you were very excited.  Until, you realized you had to fall  sometimes to learn to ride your bike.  After that,  well you were not excited anymore.  Your Dad was very determined that you were going to ride this bike and really you had no choice in the matter.  You were going to ride this bike! So day after day and many tears you would suit up with your armour helment, kneepads and elbow pads and off you went to the track and by the 3rd day YOU GOT IT!!!
 Of course,  we knew you could do it all along but you had to have confidence in yourself.  We were so proud of you but more importantly..... you were proud of yourself.

Macy Carol is 8!!!!!!!!!!

Macy Carol is 8 years old

Macy Carol you decided for your birthday to invite Emily and Willoe for a day of fun.  We had singing contest and we decorated flip flops, painted our nails and then went to a 3D movie.   Then back home for yummo pizza,cake and ice cream.  And of course, present time Uncle Nat and Aunt Tiff got you your first pet a gold fish you named him Barnabas nickname Goldie.  Unfortuntly, he only lasted 5 days.   Nana, Pops,Gammie, papaw, Aunt Amy, Uncle Matt and the boys  got you much needed clothes and more Easy bake oven pans and recipes. Your Dad and I love your baking.  Your Dad  and I bought you a new bike. Your dad is determined to teach you to ride a bike.  That is to be continued.........

      I have made yours and Lily's birthday cake every year since you have been born and I Love doing it.  This year you decided on a peace cake and thats what you got.  Happy Birthday Macy Carol!!!
