Shelby's Alabama bound...

      Shelby had finally decided  to go to the University of Alabama for school. So you girls and I decided to throw her a surprise Alabama themed party.   We bought Alabama balloons, We made a Alabama cake and for dinner we had steaks, potatoes and salad.  We were very busy!  We also got her a few things she had probably not thought of---  We decided that we wanted get things that would guard her heart and what better then Gods Word so you girls picked out bookmarks, pens and a travel coffee mug all with Gods Promises on them.

The Time has Come....

      Lily you started kindergarten this year.  It was a bittersweet day.   You are so much like you big sister you were so excited.  You could not wait to walk across the street and join the big kids club... Me on the other hand had a lump in my throat for weeks prior.   But the time has come sooooo your Dad,  Macy Carol and I walked you to school.  You were so pumped.   Your teacher is Mrs.Tracy she was also Macy Carol's teacher so we knew she rocks kindergarten.  We knew you were in good hands... But walking back home without your little hand in mine without the sound of your favorite tv show "Super Why" throughout the house.   I have to say I Missed You and my Heart Ached but in the same breathe I realized how blessed I have been to be able to stay home with you and then the Lord filled my heart with Gratitude!
You are going to Rock Kindergarten!!!  Lonnie and I are Proud Parents of 2 Fabulous Girls!!!

      Macy Carol is a 3rd grader!!!!  You were very excited to start school.  You  love school and were so ready to start you had a count down the last 2 weeks of summer until school starts.   Sometimes I cant believe you belong to me.  Your teacher is Miss. Angela Dunn and she is Awesome!!!  We have big hopes for you this school year! 

Sleepovers in the Living Room!

Summer days

  The summers are awsome around here.  Its lazy days and for you girls its  sleepovers everynight in the living room.   You girls dont sleep in your beds all summer.  You make pallets in the living room and watch movies and  eat popcorn Ya'll Love It!!!!

Sushi and Hot Wings!!!!

Wednesday Night Dinners

      On this Wednesday Night Dinner some wanted Hot Wings and some wanted Sushi.   So we broke the norm and thats what we had Sushi and Hot Wings.   I made some fried rice and my chocolate chip cookies for dessert.  I have to say it was a fun combination and the kids loved it!!!!!  especially Gunner and Shelby!

Family Vacation

We Love the BEACH!!!!

We LOOVVEE the beach.  This is our 7th annual trip to the beach.    Macy Carol you get more brave each time we go.  Next year we will have to sign you up for surfing lessions.   Lily on the other hand she plays it safe (just like her mom).   Our day starts with eating breakfast , get our bathing suits on, pack lunches and head to the beach all day and i mean ALL DAY from 10:00 till 5:00. The Glass Family could literally be BEACH BUMS!!!!   It's a Great time Everytime!!!!
