Nana and Pops Yard Sale!
Nana and Pop came down from Pickwick and had a yard sale at the house for a couple of days. Your Nana is famous for having more than enough for everyone. So we had a yard sale. Lily, you and Pop hung out most of the day on the front porch. At the looks of this Picture maybe to much time together.

Lily you lived in this dress for about 6 months. You wore it everywhere grocery store, target everywhere and it was a battle i didnt fight with you. I am so glad i didnt because you are so beautiful in this dress. This picture brings back so many memories. Lily you love dresses, in the winter you wear dresses with leggings and most of the time i have to fight you to wear leggings and to get a pair of pants on you YIKES!! Forget it!
You love to shop for dresses and of course buy dresses. You Just Love Dresses! And I Love that about You! I Love You Ms. Lily!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your dad and I always tell you girls its better to be pretty on the inside than the outside.
The Lord says:
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your innerself, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in gods sight." 1 Peter3:3,4

I Turn into a kid myself so excited when they all come. I pray you girls love each other as much as i love my sister. We have the best time together just hanging out. We often would try to get out with all you kids and do something but then Aunt Amy and i would always say on the way home Never Again! I'm sure as you guys get older we will get out more. So on this trip Gammie and Papaw bought a pool and we stayed in that pool all week. It was the BEST TIME EVER!

2010 Christmas Card! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!
Well, Let me start by saying this picture lived in my head for over a yr. And Finally i got it but it wasnt easy . I have to admit i got a little bossy. Luke and Jack had come home for Thanksgiving So i told Aunt Amy and Aunt Tiffany to make sure everyone got a nap and to be at the house at 5. I said to myself i am getting this picture and nothing was going to stop me this time....except luke and jack woke up in a bad mood and Shelbi was a little iffee. Luckly Aunt Amy stopped by the dollor store earlier that day to bribe all you kids with toys.... AND IT WORKED!!! So, long story short this picture is way better than the picture that was in my head. Thank you Macy, Lily, Luke, Jack and baby Shelbi as you girls call her. I Treasure this Picture!

Who is Your Hero?
Macy Carol in the 2nd grade you won a art contest. The subject was who is your hero? You drew a picture of your dad at work. Your dad and i were so surprised how detailed it was it looked just like your dads office. We were both so proud especially daddy. The day they told you (you won )! You were so excited that you got your backpack and lunchbox and left the school and came home to tell us. Mrs. Jamie your 2nd grade teacher could not find you anywhere and ended up calling lonnie at work telling him they could not find you in the school building. To say the least, your dad was scared. I was at the church with lily coming home and found you in the yard eating a snack. Your teacher came running to the house and your dad ran home to see if you were at home.
And so there you were. After hugging and kissing you we had a long talk with you.

The Biggest Decision of your Life!!
Since you were born we have prayed for the day that you would ask Jesus in your heart and accept him as your Savior. Well, that day came sooner than i had expected. Jesus answered our prayers. It was Wednesday night March 17, 2010 you were in the treehouse and it was a special event and you went up during invitation and told brother Ian you wanted to give your life to Jesus. When we were headed home you told us that you went forward and asked Jesus in your heart. Your dad and i both looked at each other we could not believe it because we thought you would have been to shy. We were so wrong. The next day brother Ian called to tell us about your decision. Our concern was your age and if your really understood. You did have to complete and 4 week class called "I am a Christian Now". It was a great class and you really enjoyed it. But i still wasn't sure if you were going to make a profession of Faith in front of the church and still worrying about your age. You were being very persistent about being baptized. Silly now that i think about it. After that, dad asked you one day Macy if Jesus asked you "Why should i let you into my Kingdom what would you say?" thinking that was the end of the confersation. The next day we all went to the mall to walk around and you pulled me to the side and said i know what i am going to say-John 3:16 and said the verse "For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Lonnie and i were amazed with your answer and it gave both of us great peace. So, the next Sunday you went forward and made a profession of faith in front of the church with your dad and i right by your side. Not a nervous bone in your body. Sunday August 1, 2010 you were baptized your Aunt Amy, Luke and Jack even drove up along with your Nana and Pop. My Heart Overflows....
"and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand." 1 Peter 3:21,22

Here We Go.....
I am so excited about my new project. I just hope i stick with it. After several days and a very frustrated sister( Thank You Aunt Amy) i am ready to begin. I have decided to start this blog as a letter to our girls.
And ultimately to turn it into a book each yr. I remember when the girls were small everybody would say enjoy it because it goes by so fast and in that moment i thought they were crazy. But now Macy Carol you are 7 and Lily you are 5. I look at you girls so amazed how big you have gotten and how fast it went but now my heart aches with what little time i have with you before you go off to college. I do want you to know that your father and I have prayed over you girls every night since the day you were born. Dad and i recently completed a class at church on "bringing up girls" just trying to prepare ourselves for the future. I remember one part in the book were it interviewed a girl who was a freshman in college and she said that one thing that she missed was having her father pray over her at night. I just love that.
Your dad reminds me often the most important thing we can do is to pray for you girls and we do. Let me say this about your dad your dad loves Jesus with all his heart when your dad and i we dating i remember sitting in his lap and he said Kim you know you are not number # 1 in my life Jesus is. He then explained to me that because he loves Jesus first he will love me better. And he has been showing me ever since. I knew then i was going to marry this man.. Your dad is the one that lead me to the Lord. He has shown me how to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I love Him.
