The Biggest Decision of your Life!!

Since you were born we have prayed for the day that you would ask Jesus in your heart and accept him as your Savior.  Well, that day came sooner than i had expected. Jesus answered our prayers.  It was Wednesday night March  17,  2010  you were in the treehouse and it was a special event and you went up during invitation and told brother Ian you wanted to give your life to Jesus.  When we were headed home you told us that you went forward and asked Jesus in  your heart.  Your dad and i both looked at each other we could not believe it because we thought you would have been to shy.  We were so wrong. The next day brother Ian called  to tell us about your decision. Our concern was your age and if your really  understood.  You did have to complete and 4 week class called "I am a Christian Now".  It was a great class and you really enjoyed it. But i still wasn't sure if you were going to make a profession of Faith in front of the church and still worrying about your age.  You were being very persistent about being baptized. Silly now that i think about  it.  After that,  dad asked you one day Macy if Jesus asked you "Why should i let you into my Kingdom what would you say?" thinking that  was the end of the confersation.  The next day we all went to the mall to walk around and you pulled me to the side and said i know what i am going to say-John 3:16 and said the verse "For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son,  that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."  Lonnie and i were amazed with your answer and it gave both of us great  peace.  So, the next Sunday you went forward and made a profession of faith in front of the church with your dad and i right by your side.  Not a nervous bone in your body.  Sunday August 1, 2010 you were baptized your Aunt Amy, Luke and Jack even drove up along with your Nana and Pop.  My Heart Overflows....

"and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand."                1 Peter 3:21,22
